Happy New Year!!!

Seriously? Another year has gone by? These things happen so quickly, yet looking back it clear to us that we’ve had a great year. We started out 2008 shooting new cameras (Nikon D3s) and quickly realizing how much more freedom they allowed us on a wedding day. Even though a camera is just a tool, this new tool took us to places we weren’t able to go before and capture images that were just impossible to do the year before. We were able to integrate them into our process and have loved every minute with them. We learned to watch […]

Regan’s Bridal Portrait

We recently photographed Regan’s bridal portrait at The Fort Worth Botanic Gardens (the oldest botanic garden in Texas apparently). It was a bit chilly out but we had some sweet warm light here and there. Regan was such a trooper, she was up for anything. Note to self :p Since Regan is an owner of Details & Designs Event Production therefore I know the wedding details are going to be wonderful and fun to photograph. I absolutely can’t wait!!!

Jennifer & Philip’s Wedding

We recently photographed Jennifer & Philip’s wedding at University Park United Methodist Church and their reception at Marie Gabriel. Beautiful bride, gorgeous dress, wonderful vendors… It was a wonderful night, everyone was having so much fun and so did we. Getting ready with the help of mom and bridesmaid. A card/letter from Jennifer. In the chapel pretty much right after the ceremony. As always, the beautiful reception at Marie Gabriel. Details of the groom’s cake by Fancy Cakes. Before Jennifer and Philip walked in, Andy Austin (DJ) asked who the loudest of each table was… so we can make noise […]

Uyen and Ron’s Engagement

We joined Uyen and Ron at her very cool work place. The office was a sea of neat and different rooms ranging from beach scapes, and mountain lodges, to an upside down room with all of the furniture on the ceiling, and a completely astro turfed room. There were so many fun possibilities and we had a blast with them exploring their favorite rooms. Reflection in the table of the library room. We were using the yellow shag carpet while they laid next to each other and this was Ron’s reaction after being licked on the cheek. Uyen is pretty […]

Lynn and Bill’s Wedding

We recently photographed Lynn and Bill’s Wedding at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and the Arlington Hall at Robert E. Lee Park. Getting ready. Floral designed by Dr.Delphinium. Bill hung out with groomsmen. Bill and his best man up on the balcony looking down as their guests started to arrive. An overall shot of the wedding inside the sanctuary. On the way to the Arlington Hall via carriage. Beautiful music from The Gyros Quartet. I can listen to them all day long. Yummy and gorgeous cake from La Duni. Who could resist?! I love the expression/emotion in Lynn’s mother’s face. Thanks […]

Emalie and Jonthan’s Wedding

We recently photographed Emalie and Jonathan’s wedding at The Trammell Crowe in the Arts District of downtown Dallas. We had a great time shooting all day long. Getting ready at the Stoneleigh in Dallas. A warm touch between mother and son. I love this reflection of Jonathan looking out the window. Jonathan reading his Iguana conservation magazine. Check out Emalie’s awesome birdcage veil! Jonathan’s dad helped him out with the tie. Scott noticed this on the TV… check out the wedding photography going on behind the TV reporter. They see each other for the first time before heading downstairs for […]
