CARMELA + PETER | WEDDING | ST. MONICA

What a way to start off 2011! We were honored to have been contacted by Peter back in August last year for a short notice opportunity to capture his surprise proposal to Carmela at the Dallas Arboretum. Luckily when they said they had decided to have the wedding locally in Dallas, as they both currently live in Ireland, we were available and jumped at the chance to work with them again.

Such a sweet couple, and a very cool church for the ceremony. Here are some of our favorites from the day and many thanks to Lyly from lylyphotography.com for helping out while Tem was in the last days of pregnancy with our son Luke (more on that in a post soon):

The poster rounds out the scene, as that is Carmela’s first and middle name. I wish we knew the story behind it though.

Carmela said Peter actually drew this of her.

Peter was is good spirits all day long.

St. Monica had awesome stained glass everywhere.

Carmela gave each of the girls a necklace as a gift.

The girls line up getting ready for the trip down the aisle.

The reception at the Hilton Garden Inn was intimate and super fun!

First Dance.

Ok, I have to mention their entertainment for the evening. Radu Cernat, “The Violin Guy” was a one man powerhouse of entertainment, and super amazing at the violin. The reception was super fun, and he made it even more unique.
