Baby Ryan
I am thrilled for a chance to capture this special memory for Kevin and Nikki who just became first time parents. Scott and I are very excited for them both.
Baby Ryan weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces when he was born. I photographed him when he was 6 days old. He won’t be this little for long so it is going to be great to have these to look back on.

Beth and Jim’s Wedding
Beth and Jim said ‘I do’ recently at The Memorial Drive Presbyerian Church in Houston, Texas. We had been looking forward to the wedding cause we knew it was going to be so much fun. If you ever meet Beth (we’d never Jim until the wedding day), you will know why I say that. ^_- Of course we were not disappointed. We had such a wonderful time, as did all of their friends and family! There are so many favs from the weddings, I am having a hard time narrowing them down.
All the girls getting ready in Sarah’s room at The Magnolia.
Holy smokes! ;p Pun intended.
Maggie from Maggie and Kyle/Emily’s sister ^_- also was there doing such a great job on hair and makeup as usual. Go Maggie!

At the church as the groomsmen were getting ready.

A card from the future mrs. to Jim.
This image makes me laugh. I love seeing double.
Jim’s reaction to his groomsmen’s stories while they are circling around him reminding him how they met, their impressions of Beth, and all sorts of wonderful tales.
I love dad and daughter moments, just the look on his face… awww.

OK, one more.

On the bus with the fun bridal party on the way to The Crystal Ballroom at the Rice for the reception.

First dance.
Jim with his mom.
Jim’s brother’s toast got a pretty good reaction from Beth and Jim.

Remember that scene from Top Gun?! Yep! They did it!!!
I think Sarah said ‘I am next’ as she caught the bouquet. We can hardly wait.
Last dance.
A few portraits from The Empire Room.

Emily + Marcus’ Wedding
Scott and I feel very honored when we were asked by Emily and Marcus to shoot their wedding. I don’t know how often it happens but every time we have sibling(s) of the bride or groom who want us to shoot their weddings we feel so privileged.
As some of you may know, we had shot Maggie and Kyle’s wedding (Emily’s sister) last year and *yay* for us Emily and Marcus liked our style and how we approached the weddings so got to shoot theirs too. Thanks guys for making us a part of your big day!
Emily and Marcus got married at All Saints Catholic Church, with the reception at the Bent Tree Country Club. Here goes:
As the girls are getting ready, Whitney picks up the veil and tries it on just because she wants to. So cute and funny at the same time.
A few touch ups.
Marcus’ mom pops in to give him a hug.
Sneak peek of the Sanctuary.
Kim gets emotional seeing Emily in her wedding dress.
All the cutie pies at the wedding.
ok… one more ;p they are just so cute.

Walking out for the first time as a married couple.

I wasn’t too sure why they didn’t recess but I kept shooting…
Whew… they thought they are done.
Reaction from Emily’s parents once we all figured it out what had happened and they left before the ceremony was over. (Hey guys…we thought it was over too)

As the rest of the ceremony concludes.
Ok this one is the real last one.
Wonderful Jordan and Megan from jordanpayneevents.com did a superb job as usual.
First dance.
I just love Maggie’s toast about how shy Emily and Marcus are. It was pretty funny actually as she said their families sometimes wondered what they did on their dates, and if they even talked to each other. She ended with a sentiment about how she can’t wait until she and Emily have babies and and they can share those new moments together. So sweet!

It is that song… downtown do your thing… do your thing…

Let me give you the link to our favs from Emily and Marcus’wedding otherwise I will just keep going on and on. I love telling wedding stories and of course showing all the images along with it.
Amanda and Chris’s wedding
We recently photographed Amanda and Chris’s wedding at the Dallas Arboretum. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a reception following at the Rosine Hall. Everything looked great and we all had a wonderful time.
Girls getting ready.

Chris helped Eddie put on his cuff links.
Jennifer and Cynthia checking out the wedding program.

They only have eyes for each others.

A quick portrait before going into the reception.
Cake by Dallas Affairs and Floral Design by A Stylish Soirée.

The flower girl was really interested in the groom’s cake.

Cynthia and Ben’s Engagement Session
We shot Cynthia and Ben’s Engagement Session around the Arlington Hall at Lee Park where Ben proposed and also where the wedding will be held at this coming November. The weather made us nervous all week but it worked out perfectly.
The bridge where Ben proposed.
I love your big brown eyes 0_0

We are totally looking forward to the wedding. We can tell from your dance moves we saw recently at Amanda and Chris’s wedding that your wedding is going to be a blast!
Little Gage
A family shoot with Alissa and Gage. We are so excited to see Alissa again, she is the sister of our former bride (Jennifer). She can’t be anymore laid back, and really just a cool person overall.
Alissa has a new addition to the family, Little Gage. He is a ball of energy. We can still hear his voice in our heads “mama, No, bubbles”. It was sort of funny, as we were worried we will tire him out but he just kept going and going…
I have so many favs from the shoot, here are some some of them.

They were making monkey noises.
At the park nearby Alissa’s house.

Playing with Mama and Aunt Jen.

Back in their own backyard.
Ah..h bubbles…s.
Love his pose and cheese puff. He is quite natural.

Not sure what Scott would say about this but I want to shoot more of a ‘Day In The Life’. It was so much FUN!!! I truly enjoy photographing kids interacting with their parents, having a good time doing their thing and just being kids.
Jill and Thien’s Portrait Session
Here are some shots from Jill and Thien portrait session. It was sort of an overcast kinda day, even lighting and everything which turned out really nice. We are looking forward to the wedding (it’s coming up so soon).

Posting for their friend Linda. We couldn’t help but have to shoot over her shoulder.
Erin + Brett’s Wedding
Recently Erin & Brett had their wedding and reception at Marie Gabrielle. Both Erin and Brett were so lively and fun to be around and work with.
Without further ado, here are a few of our favorite photographs.

Changing time for the little one as the flower girl looks on.
Lemon drops for the guys.
I promise it is not a random image. While I was shooting I heard the guys said ‘that’s weird!’. I turned around they were pointing up. Voila! One lone tree on top of a building. That is weird!
A nervous bride getting a kiss from her dad.

An overall shot of a beautiful ceremony in the tree grove.
All the love from friends and family members right after the ceremony.
One of a few portrait shots we had a chance to shoot before entering the reception.

First dance.

Erin wiped off tears from her dad’s face during the father-daughter dance.
